Israeli singer and actor Idan Amedi is returning to the stage after a two-year break with a new chamber program titled “Karov” (“Close”). The first performances within the framework of the new program are scheduled to take place in September at the Expo Theater in Tel Aviv.
In his new program, I. Amedi has completely abandoned large stage setups, screens, and complex lighting. The performances will be built around his songs, accompanied minimally by guitar and piano.
The artist’s return to stage activity follows a long period of medical treatment and rehabilitation. I. Amedi was called up for military service as a reserve officer following Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
On January 8, 2024, he was seriously injured during preparations to destroy an underground facility used for rocket production in the Gaza Strip.
Gained fame with the series “Fauda”

The main project that brought the artist international fame was the series “Fauda”. I. Amedi portrayed the character Sagi Tzur in the show.
