Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have revealed that during operations in the security zone in southern Lebanon, extensive weapons and ammunition depots belonging to the Hezbollah terror organization were discovered and neutralized.
According to military sources, as a result of ongoing operational search measures in recent days, specially designated facilities hidden by the armed group were uncovered. These facilities contained numerous rocket launchers, machine guns, explosive devices, and various types of rocket systems.
It has been determined that the weapons in question were prepared for planning attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians. The weapons depots and all ammunition and equipment within them were destroyed in place and neutralized by Israeli forces.
Israeli Defense Forces stated that it will continue to firmly combat any threat that endangers the security of its soldiers and citizens.
