Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) neutralized a Hezbollah fighter who emerged from an underground tunnel during an operation in southern Lebanon.
According to information released by the army's press service, the incident occurred near the Qlai al-Tahar mountain range in a security zone. The tunnel used by the fighter was located in the area and posed a direct threat to Israeli soldiers operating in the region.
The IDF statement noted that the fighter was neutralized as a result of the operation conducted to counter the threat.
