The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that strikes were carried out overnight using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against four Ukrainian cargo ships in the Black Sea.
According to the ministry's statement, the vessels were carrying military-purpose cargo. Three of them were targeted in the waters of the Black Sea, while one was hit in the port of Mykolaiv.
The Black Sea remains one of the main logistics routes in the Russia-Ukraine war. In recent months, both sides have increased attacks against military and commercial vessels in the region.
