The England national team secured a 2-0 victory against Panama. With this result, the English reached 7 points, finishing as group leaders. Panama, with no points, has been eliminated from the championship.
In the parallel match, Croatia defeated Ghana 2-1. Thanks to this win, the Croats accumulated 6 points, securing second place in the group and directly qualifying for the playoffs.
