The Fourth Climate Week (CW4) started in Baku today.
Jnews.az reports that the event is being held under the organization of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Within the framework of the program, participants are discussing the practical implementation of climate initiatives, the development of international cooperation, and the strengthening of measures to combat climate change. The discussions are being held in the context of preparations for COP31.
High-ranking officials, including Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Simon Stiell, and Executive Director of COP31 Fatma Varank, are attending the opening ceremony.
