Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi expressed concern over the current situation regarding control over Iran’s nuclear program.
Jnews.az reports that speaking at a meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors in Vienna on June 5, Grossi called the lack of access for agency inspectors to up-to-date information on Tehran’s nuclear activities a “serious problem in terms of nuclear non-proliferation.”
According to the head of the IAEA, the current situation must be rectified immediately. Grossi stated that full-fledged monitoring capabilities of the agency in the country must be restored to ensure the transparency of Iran’s nuclear activities.
