The head of state and the First Lady laid flowers at the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in front of the Naval Forces headquarters, paying tribute to the memory of the Great Leader.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were briefed on the operational purpose and tactical-technical characteristics of SALVO armed uncrewed surface vessels (AUSVs) and KAYRA kamikaze uncrewed surface vessels (KUSVs), developed using advanced technological innovations at the joint production facility of "MIRAS Military-Industrial Company" LLC operating under the Ministry of Defense and "DEARSAN Shipyard Industry" Inc.
Afterward, the head of state and the First Lady inspected the work carried out at the production facility.
Subsequently, practical testing of the uncrewed surface vessels produced at the facility was conducted.
In conclusion, an operational meeting on military development issues was held under the chairmanship of President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.
