Israeli athlete Raz Nevjelik won the gold medal in the junior category at the 2026 Europe Triathlon Junior Cup held in Izvorani, Romania.
According to the official results, the Israeli triathlete completed the super sprint distance in 31 minutes and 16 seconds to take the top spot on the podium. Second place went to Italian representative Davide Faldini (31:23), and third place was taken by British athlete William Pridden (31:26).
In the women's competition, Kazakhstan representative Diana Yerzhanova won with a time of 35 minutes and 41 seconds. The silver medal was won by Romanian athlete Tunde Crisan (35:48), and the bronze medal went to Italian representative Elis Ventre (35:50).
The competition was organized in a super sprint format. Participants competed in 400 meters of swimming, 11.5 kilometers of cycling, and 2.5 kilometers of running. The tournament was held on July 18–19 in Izvorani, Romania, in accordance with the World Triathlon and Europe Triathlon calendar.
