As a result of severe floods in Nepal’s Rasuwa district, at least 9 people have lost their lives, and more than 400 people are missing.
Jnews.az reports that 105 local residents are among the missing. In addition, there is no news from at least 8 South Korean citizens working at a hydroelectric power station. Another 10 employees were left stranded on the facility’s territory due to the natural disaster.
Nepalese authorities have dispatched a helicopter to the area to evacuate the people stranded at the hydroelectric power station.
Currently, search and rescue operations are continuing in the region. Officials are determining the extent of the damage caused by the natural disaster and continuing the search for the missing persons.
