The total cost of the project is estimated at 1.1 billion shekels (USD $390 million). The new hospital is expected to become the largest rehabilitation center in Israel.

The new campus, which will integrate the Reuth Rehabilitation Center currently located in south Tel Aviv, is planned to open in 2032 in the Sde-Dov area in the north of the city. It will include a new 540-bed facility designed to serve up to 10,000 patients annually. The hospital will also include a research center and a clinic for treating post-traumatic stress disorder for IDF veterans.

The Yusidman Family Charitable Foundation was founded by Mexican-Israeli magnate Daniel Yusidman, who is the founder of Truper, Latin America's largest manufacturer and seller of hardware and hand tools.

"With the help of the Yusidman Rehabilitation Hospital, we hope to contribute to the recovery of those who defended Israel and paid a high personal price for its service. This is our way of saying thank you for your service."

This statement was made by Igal Yusidman, a representative of the Yusidman Family Charitable Foundation.
