President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has issued a decree to present the "Friendship" Order to Qurban Qurbanov, an eminent public and political figure of Dagestan.
This high state award has been conferred upon Mr. Qurbanov in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of strong friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Dagestan.
During the award ceremony, special emphasis was placed on the importance of the centuries-long sincere friendship and relations based on mutual respect between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Dagestan.
