Jala Adil gizi Agayeva, a 24-year-old resident of Ganja who posted an appeal on social media seeking the return of her two young children, has been reunited with them. The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs released a statement regarding the matter.

The committee reported that the woman had previously contacted the Azerbaijan Child Helpline Service (116111), stating that her 7- and 4-year-old children had been taken by their grandfather for a visit but were not brought back.

Based on her appeal, the matter was referred to relevant authorities, and appropriate measures were taken to protect the rights and interests of the children and return them to their mother. As a result of joint efforts by relevant bodies, the children were handed over to the mother yesterday.

The committee noted that the mother, who had been separated from her children for some time, has now been reunited with her two kids. It emphasized that every appeal received regarding the protection of children's rights, their safety, and their best interests remains under close oversight.
