First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has taken the treatment of honored journalist Tofigahanum Gasimova, better known by the pseudonym Nurani, under her personal control. On the instructions of the First Vice-President, the patient, who is suffering from an oncological disease, will be provided with the necessary medical and financial support.
As reported by Day.Az, Tofigahanum Gasimova is currently in a coma.
Nurani is a well-known author whose articles have been published for many years in dozens of Azerbaijani and foreign media outlets. Her professional interests included geopolitics, political processes, and issues related to the South Caucasus region.
