A helicopter carrying Israeli President Isaac Herzog was forced to make an emergency landing in the central part of the country after colliding with birds during its flight.
According to an official statement released by the Israeli army, no one was injured during the incident. It was also reported that the aircraft sustained no damage.
In accordance with existing security protocols, the crew and the president were transferred to another helicopter. President Herzog then continued his planned flight.
