Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei compared Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's actions to the dangerous activities of anarchists on the eve of World War I.
According to Baghaei, Zelensky's steps are reminiscent of events that subsequently affected all of Europe. He stressed that Tehran has from the beginning been guided by a policy of non-interference in the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the internal affairs of other countries.
The Iranian official also strongly condemned the recent incident at sea, describing it as a direct threat to Iran's national interests.
Baghaei called on the Ukrainian authorities to take urgent measures to stabilize the country's political course. According to him, the Ukrainian leadership must control the activities of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman also warned Bulgaria, stating that the deployment of US military aerial refueling aircraft on its territory is a dangerous step. He noted that those who made this decision will bear responsibility and could turn Bulgaria into a participant in a possible confrontation.
