The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims to have launched several cruise missiles at a US-owned Amazon data center in Bahrain, asserting that the facility was completely destroyed.
The attack was reportedly carried out as part of the 24th phase of the "Nasr 2" operation.
The Iranian side claimed that the strike was in retaliation for an attack carried out by the US military a day earlier on a civilian facility under construction in the Darkhovin region of Iran.
According to the report, the targeted facility is considered one of the key elements of US technological infrastructure.
Although the IRGC claims that Amazon's data center in Bahrain was completely destroyed as a result of the attack, this information has not yet been confirmed by independent sources.
Currently, Amazon, US officials, and the government of Bahrain have not issued an official statement regarding the incident. Therefore, there is no precise information regarding the scale of the damage to the facility or the accuracy of the claims made by the IRGC.
