Confidential information about Apple's iPhone 18 Pro model, planned for release in September, has been leaked following the unauthorized disclosure of internal documents from India's "Tata Electronics" company on the darknet.
Reuters reports that the hacker group "World Leaks" published over 200,000 files on the darknet. Tata Electronics confirmed a cyber incident that affected some of its systems.
The leaked documents contain information about the iPhone 18 Pro's components, suppliers, as well as the battery, camera, and motherboard microchips. Among the files, photos taken during the device's impact and drop tests were also discovered.
According to the information, the incident not only damages the confidentiality of Apple's supply chain but could also negatively impact the company's cooperation with Tata Electronics.
