Veyis Mammadov, former head of the Agdash District Executive Power, has passed away at the age of 80.
Jnews.az reports that Veyis Mammadov served as the head of the Agdash District Executive Power in 1992–1993.
He was one of the active participants of the Azerbaijan National Movement. Veyis Mammadov, a Candidate of Philological Sciences, worked as a scholar-pedagogue and was a member of the Agdash District Council of Elders.
