The State Examination Center (SEC) of Azerbaijan has officially announced the final results of the second (retake) entrance examination for admission to master’s degree programs at higher education institutions, which was held on June 14, 2026.
Earlier, on June 17, the preliminary results for the closed-ended and machine-readable open-ended questions — a total of 95 tasks — were released. The assessment of the foreign language essay component has now been completed, and the essay scores have been added to the final results. Candidates could earn a maximum of 100 points: up to 95 points for the closed-ended and machine-readable open-ended questions and up to 5 points for the essay.
Bachelor’s degree holders can access their final examination results through the State Examination Center’s electronic services portal. In addition, subscribers of the mobile operators Azercell, Bakcell, and Nar can obtain their results by sending their registration number via SMS to 7727.
Bachelor’s degree holders who meet the admission requirements will be eligible to proceed to the next stage — specialization selection. The selection process will be carried out in accordance with the «Master’s Degree Specialization Selection Table,» which will be published in the next issue of the «Magistr» journal.
To review appeals regarding the examination results, the State Examination Center will organize a telephone-based appeals process starting July 8, 2026.
