Azerbaijan plans to compile a list of social networks that will be subject to age restrictions. President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant decree on August 5, 2026, APA news agency reported.
This measure is aimed at regulating access to certain online platforms for minors.
According to the document, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport will prepare the registry. The ministry has been instructed to approve the list of platforms subject to age limits within five months.
Upon completing the list, the ministry must inform the head of state on the execution of the task.
