An Azerbaijani delegation specializing in innovation visited the Shimon Peres Center for Peace and Innovation during their trip to Israel. During the meeting in Tel Aviv, the delegates received detailed information about the center's activities and Israel's achievements in the high-tech sector.
The center was established to perpetuate the legacy of former Israeli President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Shimon Peres. The organization's main goal is to promote innovation, technology, education, and entrepreneurship, as well as to spread ideas of peace and international cooperation.
During the meeting, the Azerbaijani side was presented with interactive exhibits showcasing Israel's "Startup Nation" model. These exhibits demonstrated the country's successes in fields such as science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, agriculture, water management, and medicine.
During the dialogue between the parties, opportunities for cooperation in the development of innovation ecosystems, support for startups, technology transfer, and scientific research were discussed. Issues related to the commercialization of innovative solutions were also addressed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the importance of implementing joint projects, expanding experience exchange, and strengthening ties between innovation centers in the future was emphasized. As part of the visit, the delegation also familiarized themselves with the center's interactive exhibition halls.
