A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA) and the international startup Polygraf AI, which operates in the field of artificial intelligence security.
This document aims to strengthen Azerbaijan's innovation and digital development ecosystem, ensure the secure application of artificial intelligence technologies, train local specialists, and solidify the country's position as a regional innovation hub.
Within the framework of this cooperation, a regional Center of Excellence will be established in Baku to serve the Central Asia and Middle East regions. The center will implement training programs, pilot projects, and applied research in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data privacy.
The parties will also support the development of the Azerbaijani startup ecosystem, the attraction of international investments, and the expansion of local digital products into foreign markets, particularly in African countries.
It should be noted that Polygraf AI was founded by Azerbaijani entrepreneur Yagub Rahimov, and its artificial intelligence security technologies are currently being utilized in the government and corporate sectors across various countries. The company has been recognized by international analytical institutions and has attracted millions of dollars in investment in recent years.
