A severe traffic accident resulting in a fatality has been recorded in the Zaqatala district. Opel and VAZ-21099 passenger cars collided in the crash that occurred during the night hours.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the VAZ-21099 died at the scene due to severe bodily injuries.
Another person was injured during the incident. The injured individual was identified as 21-year-old Ubadulla Ali oglu Aliyev, a resident of Muxax village. He was admitted to the Second Emergency Medical Care Department of the Surgical Building at the Zaqatala District Central Hospital.
An investigation into the traffic accident is being conducted by the relevant authorities.
