Azerbaijan has announced state fee amounts for moped registration, technical inspection, and management.
According to the new regulations, expenses for moped users are structured as follows:
Registration and technical inspection fees:
- A fee of 15 manat must be paid for technical inspection of mopeds.
- A fee of 10 manat is required for vehicle registration.
- A fee of 15 manat is provided for obtaining a state registration plate (license plate).
Driver's license and documentation:
- A fee of 30 manat applies for obtaining or replacing a driver's license, as well as for issuing a registration certificate.
- A fee of 40 manat must be paid for the driver's license exam to obtain the right to operate a moped.
- Candidates who fail the exam will pay a fee of 20 manat for retaking the exam.
These regulations, based on a law adopted by the National Assembly, aim to ensure the legal operation of mopeds on roads and guarantee safety.
