Investigation into the loud explosion in Monaco continues. Interpol has issued a Red Notice for a Ukrainian national suspected of being the main perpetrator of the incident.

According to information released by Reuters citing Monaco's prosecutor's office, the main version of the investigation suggests that the suspect disguised her identity. She carried out the attack using a remotely controlled explosive device.

According to investigation materials, the woman was last seen in Germany, and that country was also her last known place of residence. She traveled across several countries in a vehicle registered in Germany. Law enforcement authorities do not rule out that the preparation of the explosive device may not have been the work of a single person.

Three people were injured as a result of the attack. The investigation is examining the possibility that the incident may have been a premeditated assassination attempt against a wealthy Ukrainian oligarch living in Monaco.

According to investigators, the suspect fled to France after the incident. However, the absence of permanent border controls between France and Monaco facilitated her departure from the country. According to French media reports, the woman suspected of being the main perpetrator has not been located in either Monaco or the adjacent French territory.
