Freight trains carrying grain from Russia to Armenia continue to transit through Azerbaijani territory.
A train consisting of 14 wagons and 976 tons of grain, dispatched from the Bilajeri station of Azerbaijan Railways JSC, is heading towards the Boyuk Kesik station. The freight train will proceed from Boyuk Kesik through Georgian territory and then to Armenia.
It is worth noting that during the period of transit through Azerbaijani territory from Russia to Armenia, more than 35,000 tons of grain, approximately 8,000 tons of fertilizer, 133 tons of aluminum, 68 tons of black metal, and 414 tons of anthracite have been transported.
Additionally, through Azerbaijan, more than 14,000 tons of diesel fuel and approximately 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 grade gasoline have been exported to Armenia.
