This was stated in the ministry's official statement on the "X" social network. The statement also noted that relevant government agencies are continuing necessary measures and investigations at the scene.
Prior to this incident, on June 27, Bahraini authorities reported that unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to the Iranian Armed Forces had attacked the country's territory. Also today, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had launched missile and UAV strikes on the US Navy's Fifth Fleet base located in Salman Port, Bahrain.
