Billionaire Bill Gates admitted to marital infidelity during a US Congress interrogation concerning the Jeffrey Epstein case. The Microsoft founder stated that he had affairs with at least three women during his marriage to Melinda Gates.
According to testimony, Gates was involved with medical consulting specialist Elise Jacobs Nesselrodt, Russian scientist Karima Nigmatulina, and bridge player Mila Antonova. He clarified that he met Nigmatulina through his company TerraPower, where she was involved in nuclear development and disease modeling.
Gates also revealed that his ex-wife Melinda knew about his relationship with the first woman mentioned before 2010. However, he stated that information about the other two affairs, which became known to her in 2013, caused her significant distress, although the question of divorce was not raised at that time.
During the hearings, the topic of potential blackmail by Jeffrey Epstein was raised, as he was aware of the billionaire's extramarital affairs. Gates confirmed that Epstein attempted to pressure him, hinting at the return of funds spent on Antonova's education. The billionaire stated that he was firmly resolved "never to pay anything."
Committee members read excerpts from Epstein's letters containing derogatory personal details, including a mention of Gates's penis shape and a request for antibiotics for his wife. Bill Gates categorically denied these claims, stating that he never discussed intimate details with friends and did not suffer from venereal diseases.
Previously, the Microsoft founder had already stated that he was unaware of Epstein's criminal activities. He also denied visiting the financier's private island or his home in Florida.
