In Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, Muhammad al-Yazuri, commander of the local Hamas military wing brigade—also known by the alias Abu al-Haitham—was neutralized in an Israeli army strike.
Jnews.az reports that according to the Israeli military’s assessment, al-Yazuri was one of the highest-ranking Hamas commanders still operating within the enclave.

The death of Muhammad Abd al-Salam al-Yazuri is confirmed by reports from the Gaza Strip, including staff at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, where the bodies of the victims were brought.
According to local sources, the strike was carried out by an Israeli drone in the al-Mawasi area in the western part of Khan Yunis.
Alongside the brigade commander, another individual identified as Huzaifa Muammar was killed in the airstrike.
