The YASHAT Foundation will provide a one-time financial support of 2,000 manats to members of martyrs’ families and war veterans admitted to higher education institutions in the 2026-2027 academic year.
Jnews.az reports that the implementation of this initiative was discussed at a meeting held with the participation of Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
To benefit from financial support, candidates must meet a number of academic requirements. Individuals who score 400 or more points in the entrance exams of the State Examination Center (SEC), as well as graduates who complete the sub-bachelor’s level with 90 or more points, are eligible to receive this payment.
In addition, students admitted to higher education institutions ranked in the top 1,000 of world university rankings can also benefit from the support program.
Acceptance of applications to receive the payment will continue until October 31.
For additional information, candidates can contact the call center of the YASHAT Foundation at 8110.
This practice of the YASHAT Foundation awarding students among members of martyrs’ families and children of war veterans was also applied in previous years.
