Traffic congestion at the Azerbaijan-Georgia border has been completely eliminated, and traffic flow has been restored to normal.
Jnews.az reports that this was stated by the State Customs Committee.
It was reported that as a result of mutual measures implemented at the border of the two countries, the congestion caused by vehicles in both directions has been cleared. Currently, queues at border checkpoints have been minimized.
According to official information as of August 26, 330 vehicles are waiting in queue at the «Red Bridge» border checkpoint in the direction of departure from Azerbaijan.
At the «Mazimchay» border checkpoint, the number of vehicles waiting in queue is 56.
