In brief

Albert Agarunov was born in 1969 in the Baku settlement of Amirjan and went to school No. 154. In the winter of 1991 he volunteered for the army and fought in a T-72 tank.

He was killed on 8 May 1992 in the fighting for Shusha. That June he was posthumously named a National Hero. He is buried at the Alley of Martyrs; a Baku street and his old school carry his name.
