The Media Development Agency (MEDIA) conducted a public opinion survey in the first half of 2026 to study public sentiment regarding President Ilham Aliyev's activities. According to information released by the agency, the survey results revealed high public support for the head of state's policies.
93.6 percent of respondents stated that they positively evaluate the President's activities. Overall, 87.7 percent of respondents noted their trust in Ilham Aliyev. This indicates that approximately 9 out of 10 people trust the head of state.
The position of survey participants regarding elections also confirms high support. If presidential elections were held next Sunday, 91.5 percent of respondents stated they would cast their vote for Ilham Aliyev.
Furthermore, 81.9 percent of respondents consider President Ilham Aliyev to be an unrivaled political leader. Researchers emphasize that this indicator shows an increasing dynamic compared to previous periods.
The public opinion survey was conducted from May 20-30, 2026, using a face-to-face interview method. 1210 respondents aged 18 and above participated in the survey. The distribution of respondents was ensured in accordance with official statistics, and the margin of error is +- 3 percent.
