According to the State Statistical Committee, the city and district registration departments of the Ministry of Justice officially registered a total of 11,422 marriages and 6,443 divorces during January-April of the current year.
These indicators are included in the Committee's publication for January-May, which reflects the macroeconomic indicators of the country's economic and social development.
According to the released data, the number of marriages per 1,000 population decreased from 4.4 to 3.4 compared to the same period in 2025. At the same time, the number of divorces also showed a decrease, falling from 2.0 to 1.9.
