U.S. President Donald Trump shares the position that a number of foreign states, including Israel, are seeking to influence public sentiment in the United States. This was reported by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt during a regular briefing.
Responding to questions from journalists regarding recent statements by Vice President J.D. Vance, Leavitt confirmed the American leader's position.
I believe the President would definitely agree that foreign states are, undoubtedly, making efforts to influence public opinion in the United States. There is not the slightest doubt about this — it is a fundamental fact.
Previously, Vice President J.D. Vance stated on a podcast hosted by American comedian and television presenter Joe Rogan that there are individuals within the Israeli government manipulating public opinion in America. According to him, they are seeking to change the sentiments of U.S. citizens so that military operations continue indefinitely, and they oppose a potential agreement between Washington and Tehran.
