Yemen's Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) issued a statement claiming a successful breach of government defense lines and advances across several directions in the central and western parts of the country.
According to the Houthi statement, units are encircling Marib, where the decisive phase of an assault could begin in the near future.
On the western front, the port city of Mokha on the Red Sea coast came under attack, with advances reported in several sectors.
In addition, the advancing forces report capturing the settlements of Al-Uraysh and Mafraq al-Mokha along Route 423, and on the northern flank, blocking the Taiz–Hodeidah highway in the Al-Khawkhah area south of Hays.
Amid this pressure, government forces are relinquishing a portion of their positions near Hays.
However, this information lacks independent verification. Details of the operation and the current frontline situation are being clarified.
