Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan have officially signed a new trilateral defence pact titled the "Mecca Agreement". The document aims to strengthen collective security and expand military cooperation among the nations.

According to a key provision of the treaty, an attack on any member of the alliance will be considered an act of aggression against all signatories. This principle of collective defence establishes the readiness of the states to respond jointly to external threats.

In addition to mutual defence, the "Mecca Agreement" provides for deepening cooperation in security and military-technical partnership. The parties intend to coordinate efforts to ensure regional stability and develop long-term ties in the defence sector.
