The car of Vladimir Tkachuk, who is involved in the production of "Upyr" FPV drones, has exploded in Russia's Sverdlovsk Oblast.
According to Russian media reports, Tkachuk survived the explosion in his Mercedes vehicle but sustained severe injuries. It is reported that he was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit.
The circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been disclosed. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the causes of the explosion.
Vladimir Tkachuk is known as one of the key figures involved in the development and production of the Russian-manufactured "Upyr" FPV drone. These drones are used by the Russian military in the war in Ukraine.
