A National Data Pool has been established in Azerbaijan. This was announced by Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport, on June 29.
The minister made this statement at the first meeting of the Digital Development Council, chaired by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva. According to him, work is currently underway to migrate state information systems to the government cloud and to construct a new data center.
Rashad Nabiyev also noted that the service scope of the "mygov" platform has been expanded. He stated that over the past three months, the number of users has increased from 2.7 million to 3.5 million. Several applications have already been integrated into the platform.
The minister added that services for seven more state applications will be made available to citizens by the end of the year. Emphasizing that artificial intelligence is one of the main priorities of the action plan, Nabiyev said that relevant solutions are being increasingly implemented in "mygov" and other state agencies, and a virtual citizen assistant has been launched.
