On July 30, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, together with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, attended the opening of a Golf Club at the Issyk-Kul Golf Resort complex in Cholpon-Ata.
First, a video about the Issyk-Kul Golf Resort complex and the Golf Club was screened.
The Golf Club is located on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, within the territory of the Issyk-Kul Golf Resort multifunctional tourism complex. The total area of this complex is 120 hectares, of which 103 hectares belong to the Golf Club.
The implementation of this project will play a major role in attracting tourist flow to Issyk-Kul not only in the summer months but also in other seasons. Thus, a golf course has been built here for playing 10 months of the year. An 80-seat hotel will also be placed at the disposal of guests on the territory of the Golf Club, where the necessary infrastructure has been created. It is planned to establish a golf academy and hold golf tournaments of various levels here.
In addition to the Golf Club, the Issyk-Kul Golf Resort complex, which combines tourism, sports, health, and entertainment criteria, will feature several four- and five-star hotels, restaurants, and beach areas in total.
President of the Kyrgyzstan Golf Federation Khomeni Ergeshov delivered a speech and welcomed the heads of state.
Then, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov made a speech.
Afterwards, the heads of state toured the territory of the Issyk-Kul Golf Resort complex and participated in a symbolic tee-off ceremony.
