On Tuesday, the Israel Defense Forces carried out a strike in the Khan Yunis area, resulting in the elimination of Adam Muhammad Ibrahim Abu Hdaid. According to the IDF press service, he served as the commander of the manufacturing unit within the Islamic Jihad terrorist group.
The unit led by Abu Hdaid was responsible for the development and supply of all types of weaponry for the organization's military wing. He was reportedly personally involved in various weapon development projects.
The IDF asserts that the structure under his leadership attempted to establish the production of new types of weaponry. The goal of these developments was to carry out attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians.
Israeli military officials emphasized that Abu Hdaid posed an immediate threat and was eliminated in a targeted operation. IDF units operating under the command of the Southern Military District Headquarters continue operations in the area to neutralize any emerging threats.
