The State Examination Center (SEC) has extended the deadline for specialization selection for admission to the master's degree level of higher education institutions until 13:00 on July 27. Bachelors who meet the competition requirements and have earned the right to participate in the specialization selection must confirm their choices online by that time.
According to the SEC's information as of 09:15 on July 27, 15,633 bachelors have already confirmed their applications. Of these, 14,251 registered for the Azerbaijani section and 1,382 for the Russian section.
During the specialization selection period, candidates can choose up to 20 specialization codes that correspond to their completed bachelor's degree and preferences. These codes must be entered into the "Bachelor's electronic specialization selection application" in any order and confirmed. The selected specializations (and the foreign language requirement for some specializations) must correspond to the specialty the candidate graduated from.
The list of specializations open for admission and the number of allocated places are presented in the 4th issue of the "Magistr" journal. It is noted that only bachelors who have selected and confirmed their specializations in the electronic application will be admitted to the competition.
