On July 21, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held an expanded meeting with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin.
The meeting focused on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Germany, the development of political dialogue, and the expansion of cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including economic and trade relations, energy, transport, investment, and humanitarian affairs.
The importance of further strengthening ties between the two countries was emphasized during the meeting.
