The terrorist group HAMAS announced the submission of the Palestinian movements' response to the "roadmap" for resolving the situation in the Gaza Strip. The proposal was put forward by the Supreme Representative of the "Security Council" Nickolay Mladenov.
According to the HAMAS statement, a unified position of the Palestinian movements was formed during negotiations held last week in Cairo. Representatives of mediator countries: Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt participated in the discussions.
The submitted document expresses readiness for a "responsible" transition to the second stage of US President Donald Trump's plan. However, it also emphasizes the need for full implementation of the first stage of the plan.
"This implies an end to aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the complete withdrawal of Zionist troops, ensuring full-scale humanitarian aid deliveries, and the formation of an administrative committee," the Palestinian movements' response states. Furthermore, the importance of creating a Palestinian state is emphasized.
