The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has released information about a traffic accident involving servicemen.
It was noted that the incident occurred on August 19 at around 21:00 on the road leading to the city of Chambarak. A «GAZ-53» vehicle struck a group of servicemen.
As a result of the incident, serviceman Suren Vardanyan was killed. Other servicemen sustained injuries, were hospitalized, and are currently under medical supervision. It is reported that their lives are not in danger.
An investigation is underway to determine the causes and other details of the incident.
