In New York, one of the largest cities in the U.S., antisemitic rhetoric is reported to be rising with phrases such as «greedy Jewish landlords» written on walls.

Jnews.az reports that Luke Tress, New York correspondent for The Times of Israel, noted that such expressions have come to the fore as one of the new forms of antisemitism. Some protesters and politicians in New York link the city’s housing and real estate problems to «Zionists» and Jewish property owners.

Jewish communities in the U.S. are spending large sums to strengthen security measures. According to a study conducted by the Jewish Federations of North America, in 2025, annual security spending for Jewish communities in the U.S. exceeded $1.05 billion. The study covered 4,500 synagogues, Jewish community centers, schools, summer camps, and non-profit organizations.

The report also notes an increasing interest in Jewish culture outside the U.S. Among Ukrainian citizens, along with Hebrew, an increase is observed in the number of people studying Yiddish, an important part of Jewish cultural heritage.
