The 108th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces will be celebrated on June 26 in Baku with solemn parades featuring military orchestras. This was announced by the Baku City State Traffic Police Department (BCSTPD).
The military personnel's march is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM along five different routes:
First route: Heydar Aliyev Palace — Bulbul Avenue — Nizami Cinema Center — Neftchilar Avenue — Azadlig Square — Sea Terminal.
Second route: Alley of Martyrs — "Flame Towers" complex — Chambarakand Park — "Icherisheher" metro station — Old City Gates — Azerbaijan State Puppet Theatre — Azneft Circle — Bahram Gur monument.
Third route: G. Musabayov Park — Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev Street — Huseyn Javid Avenue — Huseyn Javid Park — Parliament Avenue — Alley of Martyrs.
Fourth route: "Olympic Star" Sports and Entertainment Center — Samad Vurgun Street — Officers' Park — Baku State Circus — Heydar Aliyev Palace — Imadaddin Nasimi monument — Neftchilar Avenue.
Fifth route: Nariman Narimanov monument — Central Park — Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre — Winter Park — Heydar Aliyev Palace — Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan — "28 Mall" shopping center.
The Baku City State Traffic Police Department appeals to drivers and other road users to plan their routes in advance on the day of the parades, to consider possible congestion in the indicated directions, and to use alternative roads.
