The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that two members of the Hamas movement were neutralized last week in the Gaza Strip as a result of a precision strike. This was reported in a post published on the IDF's Telegram channel.
According to the IDF, the neutralized individuals were Hussein Kadra and Muhammad Farru, members of the military wings of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist organizations.
Their Roles in Hamas's Financial Network
Kadra and Farru operated as part of a broad financial network managed by Hamas that facilitated the transfer of funds into the Gaza Strip. The IDF's statement noted that "Kadra, who led the network, together with Farru and other participants, at the direction of Hamas leadership, enabled the transfer of more than half a billion shekels (approximately $135 million) for the needs of Hamas's military wing."
Using these financial means, Hamas has continued in recent months to pay salaries to its terrorists and to finance terrorist attacks against IDF forces as well as Israeli civilians. According to the military, these activities constitute a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
