Aafaq Bookstore, located in Westminster near the West Central London Synagogue, has again come under scrutiny due to its book selection. An Arabic-language book titled 'Lest We Forget: Jewish Crimes — Zionist Resentment' was found on sale, describing Jews as a people possessing 'evil qualities'.

The book contains excerpts from the forged early 20th-century antisemitic document 'The Protocols of the Elders of Zion', which are presented as historical fact. The author claims that the content of the 'Protocols' is confirmed by current events and urges readers to be vigilant regarding 'hidden conspiracies' and plans to establish a Jewish state from the Nile to the Euphrates.

Just a few weeks ago, the same shop faced criticism for selling copies of Adolf Hitler's 'Mein Kampf'. At that time, the store's management removed the book from sale, stating that it did not constitute support for Nazi ideology and emphasizing that they reject antisemitism and racism.

A representative from the Community Security Trust (CST) called the situation outrageous. The organization believes that the repeated discovery of literature steeped in antisemitic hatred requires intervention from law enforcement and the Westminster Council.

In response to the inquiry regarding the new discovery, Aafaq Bookstore stated that they are a bilingual shop with a wide range of stock representing various political and religious views. The owners emphasized that the presence of a book on their shelves does not imply endorsement of its content, and that their selection is driven by market demand. The statement also noted that the shop is concerned that individual publications are being 'taken out of context' from their extensive collection.
